Monday, Utah, Big State

Today we started by touring Arches National Park.  Beautiful.  Then, we moved on and hit Capitol Reef National Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Glen Canyon, and finally Bryce Canyon.  That was a lot of ground to cover.  The weather was....well, let's say "interesting."  Mild temperatures to begin with, then it got warm, then it cooled off as we climbed, then it rained, then got hot again, then cold again, etc.

Nice hotel here in Cedar City, Utah.  Tomorrow, on to Ely.  We have decided to take a shorter route, as we're all getting a bit tired, and need a bit of downtime.

The riding here in Utah has been phenomenal.

Rock formations like this are all over the place in the park

I'm not going to stand under that

Around 9,000' high

As you can see, Bob (and the rest of us) had to put on jackets at this altitude.

Ominous clouds.  We got pelted with hail as we rode through that system.
