Great breakfast this morning at the Pancake House - I had pancakes of course. Arches Park was thought provoking. How in the world were all these pillars and arches created. Of course the easy answer is ice, wind and water - but wow the artist was great. These views continued on the way to Cedar City - some 350 miles of rock, ravine, forest, volcano and rivers. The Full Monty as it were. Ran into a little rain but not a problem. Biggest hassle today was all the up and down in altitude. We went from 4500 feet up to 8000 several times and the up to 10000 before coming down to Cedar City at around 5700 feet. So it was hot, then cool, then hot, then cool again. So we were putting on the jackets several times. Saw some wildlife today - Deer, Eagles and I ran over something that ran in front of me - think it was a chipmunk - ouch.
Also saw some interesting cloud formations. One looked like a giant bird - not the flying kind - but the finger kind. Looking forward to tomorrow!
